Our math courses are designed for children in kindergarten through 4th grade, however, we focus primarily on skill over age. Some of our 4 year-olds are performing at 1st and 2nd grade levels, but some of our 9 year-olds are performing at 1st grade levels.

Classes are all live and online using Zoom and Nearpod and conducted in small groups to ensure personalized attention while fostering peer interaction.

We teach over Zoom while the lesson content is gamified and interactive using an app called Nearpod. Both of these apps are free to you and included in the purchase of each course.

Nearpod is best used on a tablet and it is recommended for students to utilize a 2nd touch device for live classes (one device for Zoom such as a computer and a tablet of some sort for Nearpod). However, if two separate devices are not available, one device will suffice.

Cumulative Lessons:

Each course includes 16 weeks of live, interactive lessons held twice a week for the cumulative portion of the course (the lessons build on each other and continue to get harder). It is recommended to not miss these classes.

Nearpod:

Every live class is taught by a teacher and includes a corresponding Nearpod lesson used during class for interactive learning, games, visuals, and guided practice. After class, students can access the same Nearpod lessons in student-paced mode to review content, practice skills, and support retention.

Worksheets & Printables:

In addition to live instruction, each lesson includes worksheets and printable materials that families can use for extra practice and reinforcement outside of class.

Each course is designed to move students from the beginning-of-grade skills to end-of-grade skills. Progress is measured through ongoing participation in live lessons, completion of activities, and demonstrated understanding of each concept as it is taught.

If a student is able to understand and apply the concepts covered throughout the course, they are considered ready to move on to the next grade level.

For families who would like a more individualized look at their child’s math skills, optional 1:1 math assessments are available and can be scheduled below.

Each class is small, with no more than 6 students per cohort, to ensure every child gets the support they need. 

Assessments are always just your child in attendance if you decide to book these.

Cumulative cohort classes are held twice a week at scheduled times. Enrollment spaces are extremely limited and each course is only opened three times per year.

We strongly advise your child attends the cumulative lessons every week, however, if an absence is unavoidable, every lesson is recorded and uploaded into the learning portal within their cohort. You will have access to their cohort for the life of program even after their 16 weeks is up. 

Nearpod lessons are also available in student-paced mode for each lesson so your child still has the opportunity to play the games.

Each course is $480 per student for the full 16-week program.
