You are your own child's first teacher in life. Don't discredit yourself because you didn't go to college for it.
Oh, and you do not need a degree or teaching license to do this!
Sooooo many parents couldn't care less. In fact, so many are homeschooling families and don't follow traditional education anyway because they don't believe it works.
Okay, you got me here... Kind of...
Teachers make money, ya'll. Lots of it. Don't confuse, "Teachers don't make money." with "Districts don't pay teachers diddley squat."
There is a MASSIVE market for tutors, teachers, coaches, etc. And you know why?! Because since districts don't pay enough, quality teachers don't work for them anymore.
We're coming into a scary time for public schools because in order to fill positions, they just need to hire someone... Anyone... and it's only getting worse.
Half of my clients hire me to get their child caught up in a subject who has no other choice than to attend public school.
The other half who hire me are homeschooling families who need a bit of help, direction, and/or a professional to take over for a minute because they refuse to put their kids into public school. So they have to make it work one way or another.
It is suspected that the worldwide market for remote learning and online teaching will grow to a value of a whopping 350 BILLION dollars by 2025.
We're entering a new era.
Be there or be square!
Yet... You don't know how to run a business... yet.
If there is anything I've learned from Gabby's Dollhouse, it's this statement here.
Building a business is an evergrowing process. There will never be an end to the amount of money you make. You'll never get bored. But the best part of all, is you get to control the entire dynamic here.
If you want to grow slow, you can.
If you want to grow fast, you can.
If you want to build a team, you can.
If you want a full-time income, you can.
If you just want a little side hustle, you can.
If you want to retire your spouse, you can.
It doesn't matter how you answer - you will constantly be learning, evolving, changing, and testing because that's business.
But you don't have to do it all now. Take it as it comes. I'll show you how to get started.
Join today!
Doors are closing soon.
Moms are the swiss army knives of life.
You are your child's first teacher and because teaching comes so innate to you, you might not even realize how good you are at it.
We literally can do any and everything. We're the ones who never quit, we always find a way, we always persevere, and thanks to every old man's reminder in every grocery store - we do it with a smile... because we're prettier when we smile.
AM I RIGHT?!
If you're a teacher, you're a parent. Let's be real here.
A lot of those kids see you more than they see their own parents and some might even feel safer with you. If you're a teacher, you've probably heard every argument, but one of the big ones when it comes to your responsibility is that you're required to also raise your students to a certain extent because of the statement above. If their own parents aren't able to or just don't raise those kids right, what, or rather "who", is plan B?
...It's you.
You fall into the "Mompreneur" category, too.
Good news for you!
Now you're going to actually get the appreciation and pay you've deserved since you got your license.
Do you like creating things? Do you always have a new money-making idea?
You can literally make a course on anything!
Crafting? Sewing? Homesteading? Taking care of chickens? Language learning? Cooking? Baking? Coding? Sports? Football? Ballet? Gymnastics? Cleaning? Organizing? Minecraft? Roblox? Socializing? Yoga? College prep? SAT prep?
As long as you create the course as unbiased and factual, you can put ANYTHING up.
This is not for you if...
Hi, I'm Cassondra!
I'm the owner and curriculum developer for Shields Scholars, an online tutoring company for kids ages 3-8 as well as a "Mompreneur", where I teach other Moms how to do what I do so they can make money from home and actually have time to watch their babies grow up.
I'm a Mom on purpose, but a Mompreneur by accident.
I graduated with my BA at 30 weeks pregnant with my first baby (still walked across that stage in heels) and wasn't called back from one stinkin' job interview even though my CV was pristine - still can't figure out why...
During my unplanned maternity leave, I found a remote job teaching ESL online. I applied and quickly hit the ground running. After a few years, decided to start my own company "just to see..." and now am a mom of 4 running my own tutoring company with a team of to die for mommas teaching with me.
Why I created this:
I wanted to package up what I learned and share it with more Moms. I chose to create this course because I know my method works and I know what it feels like to not be enough, have enough money, have no direction, and have no idea what to do.
No mother should ever feel like they're not enough for their family. Whether that's in regard to time or money - you're a great mom and a great teacher... Even if you don't know it yet.
I think it's time that you're finally compensated for being you.
The Mompreneur Maneuver
There is so much more in here than the standard, "believe in yourself" pep talks.
I want you to come into this with a very realistic idea on what to expect as an online teacher and new business owner.
You will get access to my workbook to figure out what you want to and should teach as your niche subject.
Psssstttttt... You do NOT have to teach core curriculum if that's not your jam.
When you're done here, you should have a well-rounded idea on what subject you'd LIKE to teach -Â not what you think you HAVE to teach.
I'll teach you how to write out a class syllabus, course description, create an intro video for the class, thumbnail, list it, and then how to actually make the class slides in Canva.
Â
Here we will go over tech equipment, expectations, and best practices.
Â
Using Facebook ads properly and effectively to target your ideal clients, bring in new clients, and make sure the way you do it is lucrative.
Understand all of that marketing jargon of CPC, CPL, campaigns, ad sets, and what a good target for your money is.
How to conduct discovery calls and webinars for new clients, ideally for larger courses.
People don’t usually look at an ad and then send you hundreds or even thousands of dollars - you need to offer value first and show that you know what you’re talking about and give them reasons to hire you.
The bonus section includes in-depth tech tutorials for Zoom, Canva, and NearPod to make sure your class stands out!

I've got answers!
None, if you don't want to!
I teach you how to start your tutoring business on teaching platforms, which automatically deducts a % of your student enrollment price to run the platform.
This means, there is no overhead at all.
These platforms pay for your background check, trainings, Zoom, messaging integration, and even some marketing! If you have no enrollments, the platform takes nothing. So you'll never be in the red.
YouTube is oversaturated.
TikTok is oversaturated.
Facebook is oversaturated.
Instagram is oversaturated.
eBay is oversaturated.
FB Marketplace is oversaturated.
If someone tells you something is "oversaturated", it is because they're not seeing the results that they want, but instead of doing something about it, they blame the platform. This mindset is the epitome of what not to do when starting a business.
I teach you about this in the beginning of the course - if something is not working, then it is up to you to change something. I help you problem-solve and figure these things out in our live meetings. Don't listen to the people who failed - failing means they quit.
Myself and many other teachers run full organizations and make thousands. I promise, online teaching is NOT oversaturated.

Yes.
Because of international laws and such, if you plan on starting in Phase 1, teaching platforms will only accept teachers who have the right to work in:
(Note that other UK countries do NOT apply at this time).
No!
Students are all over the world and depending on how you structure your courses and who your ideal audience is, you could (and probably will) reach kids in plenty of different countries.
When starting Phase 2, you can opt into or out of whichever countries you’d like.
Get what you "have to do" out of your head.
You are going to build a business here, so it's whatever you WANT to teach - not what you HAVE to teach or even what you SHOULD teach.
Sensitive topics are subject to review and depending on how sensitive it is, certain teaching platforms will need verification from you that you are able to teach on that topic. Examples include sex education, medicine, counselling etc.
Classes should also be secular, meaning non-religious and taught in an unbiased way. Essentially, let's say you want to teach about religion. You cannot teach it from the viewpoint that Catholicism is "correct" and teaching your students to see the world through Jesus' eyes - big nope.
However, you are allowed to teach religion from a non-biased view such as "World Religions: The History of the 7 Main Religions".
Phase 1: PayPal
Phase 2: PayPal, Stripe, Kajabi, etc. In Phase 2, you decide how you’d like to take payment and which payment processors to use
We go over this heavily in Phase 2, but essentially you are considered a business owner, NOT an employee.
Your payment processors will send you a type of 1099 form at the end of the year, which you are REQUIRED to submit to the IRS.
No, you cannot skip this and pretend that you didn’t make this extra money.
That is illegal.
It is a law to report ALL of your income to the IRS. If you don’t, it is tax fraud.
Be sure to keep track of all of your expenses (including paying for this course), so you can write it off at the end of the year as a business expense.
Phase 1: No. Teaching platforms are usually just for kids 3-18 years old.
Phase 2: Yes. You can create classes and courses for anyone!

All sales are final and no refund will be issued under any circumstances. However, I think you'll find that this course is invaluable and your life can be drastically changed if you stick to the content and continue to implement the structure into your new tutoring business.
You have two options:
Imagine where you could be just one month from now.
You're ready to start a business because you bring so much to the table.
You're ready to fill your own cup back up.
You're ready to take action and actually start something for you.
You're ready to network with other moms who are on this journey with you.
You're ready for a way out.
