Our 16-week Preschool Reading Program introduces young learners to the foundational skills needed to become confident readers. Students attend two 30-minute live lessons per week (32 lessons total) in small, interactive cohorts of up to 6 students.
Through engaging, age-appropriate activities, students develop:
-
Phonological Awareness: Recognizing rhymes, syllables, and individual sounds in spoken words.
-
Letter Recognition: Identifying uppercase and lowercase letters.
-
Letter-Sound Correspondence: Connecting letters to the sounds they represent.
-
Phonemic Awareness: Blending, segmenting, and manipulating sounds in words.
-
Early Decoding: Beginning to blend sounds together to read simple words.
-
Print Awareness: Understanding how books, sentences, and written language work.
Lessons follow a structured, Science of Reading-aligned approach that builds essential literacy skills through explicit instruction and guided practice.
Lesson recordings are available for review, additional practice, or missed classes.
